The colors of fall.

The leaves are changing colors quickly now, looking quite lovely here along Lake Cumberland. I think the maple leaves are so pretty. Walking along the other day with my dog I picked up several fallen maple leaves and looking at them I thought how pretty that shape and color would be in a quilt. I have seen a maple leaf quilt before and it was absolutely lovely. But then I am a quilt lover, so all quilts are beautiful. Another one that stands out in my mind is the dogwood. Perhaps I should spend more time quilting and less time on the computer?
