Sunday pictures.

I always think the Christmas cactus blooms are so

pretty and I look forward to them each
year. Here is a picture of our cat JB the black one). She is very old and can't hear anything any more. She has no tolerance for the new cat, Little Bit, that I recently brought home. However the dog just loves the new cat! They are good buddies!
As you can tell I have not learned how to make my pictures go where I want them to on this blogger thing! Arghhh....

Rachel, you have done it. I've been thinking of running a Christmas cactus blog and now I shall. Thanks for the inspiration. Nice cats and cactus.

Little Bit is looking good! Even better than her first post in November.
Mrs.Jim has a house rule. It dies or leaves, it won't be replaced or allowed to come back. That goes for even me.
So we don't have a cat anymore. We have Adi because she thinks she is my dog.
Karen,Jr.#5 is her real Mother, we are grandparents.
This rule worked for the fish and the cat, but not for Adi and the Jr's. All five of them have appeared for short to longer periods.

The way I position pictures: (it may be the hard way but it works)
1. Uplink the photo;
2. Make a space in the post like I did above or a little larger;
3. Drag the photo down into the line space; and
4. The text will wrap to the side or below, 'Backspace' to bring it higher, 'Enter' to make it come down. Type text where you want and drag to make it better (Hey Jude).

Rachel when your on the "Create New Post" page there's an icon above your text window that looks like a tiny photo of a moountain. If you click on that you'll go to the "Upload Images Page" and there you will find the positioning choices below - Choose Layout.Tthe choices are illustrated so that you can see how your photo and text will look on the page. I hope that helps :)

Cute photos. They look great! Love that song, too. :)
If you're still not sure how to post pics, email me. I typed out longer directions for another blogger friend.
1) Important:First title your post or the pics will be lost in cyber space!
2) Decide how many photos you want to post. Click the choice of single or multiple on uppper left of box.
3) Then choose left, center or right arrangement. (There are circles to click for which placement you want.
4)It seems like you upload from your computer, so click the option that says "browse" Not choose from the internet
5) Find the file where you stored the photo
6) Doubleclick to highlight and click UPLOAD IMAGAGE blogger button
7) Hum a tune while waiting :)
8) A message pops up from BLOGGER that says "done."
9) I think it says click finish also
10) Go to your dashboard settings
11) Find that titled post, by clicking edit post, so you can type text in
12) Position your cursor to type text(see Jim's excellent hints above.)
13) When through be SURE TO CLICK THE WORD VERIFICATION BLOGGER RECENTLY ADDED TO POST EDITING! :) I think that is messing up many people because it's way at the bottom of my screen on the bottom left!
14) click Publish AFTER word verfification
Hope that helps (It's basically what Jim said, but maybe some little thing I wrote will help others?

Wow. Little Bit looks a lot like my tortie-tabby mix, Saima. Well, the face isn't quite the same, but the body markings sure are! Wonderful photos, Rachel.
Awww...poor JB. :o)
