Sunday Sign and More!!

Criticism is sure easier to handle if it's given out this way!

We finally got some rain!! Doesn't it look great coming down? Sure did to me!!

This is my great-niece having a fun time in their new pool!! She is thrilled to no end that they now have a pool. I wish I could swim like she can. I told her she must be part fish!

We've gotten a shower here and there, but not any real measurable rain. There are thunderstorms all around us so I pray we get a good soaker. Praise God for your rain! :-)

That pool looks absolutely delicious, Rachel! I'm hot and sweaty from standing on head cleaning the toilet and the rest of the bathroom, LOL! Yes, I had a very glamorous and adventuresome evening. ;D

I think you got just the right shots of your niece to keep the per*verts away. I'm so much more conscious of that kind of thing with my photos these days since my granddaughter came along.

Hope you have a wonderful and blessed Sunday, dear friend. :-)

Love and hugs,

Diane

Hi from over on the other side of the state. That Sunday sign says it all...that's just how we should all be, if we're going to criticize that is.

I also have some pool pictures when I get back home (that's if they turn out).

We got caught in a bad rainstorm with lightning, thunder and big ole raindrops for the last 45 miles of our trip. It was the first time I ever drove in rain on my bike...couldn't hardly see and I ran thru a foot deep puddle in a low spot in the road. It was scary for an instant, but I'm here so I guess I'm okay. hehehe.

I see from your post that you got a good rain too. I hope we got some rain at home.

Soooo happy you got rain, Rachel...it must have been that "rain dance" you did...(LOL)
Love that Church sign...and it is so true, too!
She looks so very happy in that pool...you can feel her happiness...That is the way I was in the water, too....It always made me so happy to be swimming!

I have missed reading your blog... but I have been so derned busy... geez! I now understand that there is retired and Re-Tired! I am both! But I sure am glad I took a minute to pull your blog up. It is always a smile for me. We, too, had a bit of rain or I would have been out in the garden manning (womanning???) the hose!

You are finally getting rain? We have had rain every day for the last two weeks! We have had so much rain that we can't even go out and cut the grass.

Love that sign! Glad you're finally getting some rain...we need some here but except for a 2 minute rainstorm yesterday, we're just not getting the rain they keep forecasting! lol Today it's so cold and dreary...hard to beleive it's the first of July!!! Wow, look at that pool, it's no wonder your little great niece is loving it so much:-) xox

I found this stove almost 30 years ago...I just thought it was soooo darned pretty...I will show some close-ups of it on my blog one day...
It was a GREAT afternoon. And I had the best time as did everuone else from what they said when they called me. Nothing like old friends! Except new ones! (lol)

We're still dry as a bone here. The weather is very cool in the evenings though.

Rachel from Kentucky is 53
she was born under the sign of a horse,
Her favorite food is a rack of ribs
Covered in sticky barbeque sauce.

Rachel has a love for nature,
animals and working out,
On the beach she poses in her bikini
practicing her walk and her pout.

I have only met her through blogging
In the cyber world and not in real life
But from what I can gather from her profile,
She’s bubbly and a happy young wife.

Sorry, best I could do in the rush this morning!

We've had rain off and on for awhile, so we are not too dry and not too wet; we are just right.
I'm glad you got rain! Did you do a rain dance in order to bring rain your way??? :-)

Criticism should always be balanced with praise.
It softens the blow.

My son is longing for a pool. Our yard is still just dirt, and he spray painted the ground and made a pool and hot tub and barbecue pit. I may post pix of it later this week. That boy cracks me up!!

Swim, little fishie, swim!!!
