Baby Birds and Fashion Shows

My neighbor has a bird's nest on top of the wreath outside her front door. I know these birds are about ready to fly away in the photo and they are probably flown away by now. They are so cute!! Looking at the wreath the nest is up at the top. Smart bird to build there. Out of the weather on a beautiful porch and this neighbor has no cats!!

Today I went to a luncheon and a fashion show. This was through Senior Friends. I really enjoyed it. This is one of my friends that was modeling. Doesn't she remind you somewhat of Junie Rose? Well, when I saw the picture I took it just made me think of Junie Rose!

We have been having lots of rain and today was one of those days. It was a good day to be inside talking with all the ladies, sipping coffee, and watching a fashion show!

What a lovely day you had! I don't know Junie Rose, but if she looks like this lady, she is gorgeous.

Hi Rachel,

Well, what a nice compliment because this lady sure is nice looking...but has herself all together much better than I ever do!

That bird's nest is cool!!!

Lots of rain here too Rachel. This week I have been in hail, rain, and snow. Just about everything except sunshine.

The baby birds are really cute. It's funny how they find such good spots to build a nest.

What fun to go to a luncheon, Rachel....!
GREAT place for a nest! And you are right...These are smart birds. It kind of blends in with the wreath doesn't it? Very cute picture, my dear.

BTW: The "answer" is up on my 'guess what #3'....if you get a chance, do pop by.

It is nice to have a bird nest nearby where you can watch it. the young robins will fly off to be on their own and the mother will lay a second set of eggs. Keep watching.

Hi Rachel, I was gone yesterday, all day. No blogging. Our Granddaughter, Megan, graduated from college at UT Austin.

I'm glad you had a nice time with friends. You had our Texas rain, they always get more and stronger as they go East and North.

If I were that neighbor, I would be using the back door until the babies were gone.
Then the bird nest would go too. I don't like birds to be very close to anywhere that I am.

I will check back here tonight or tomorrow for your church sign(s).

Smart birds!

Rain..what's that? We haven't seen any here for a few months.

Great fashion show. Maybe you could web cast it next time for all of us.

What a fun time!
She really does look like Junie Rose, at least in that photo she does.

Those baby birds remind me of me... always having their mouths open and ready to EAT!!

I'll stop back by to see what Sunday sign you have for this weekend.

She does resemble Junie Rose...
It could be her look-a-like. They say we all have one out there somewhere.
