Jim and Mrs. Jim at the brunch that Cliff cooked. It was good stuff too; pancakes, sausage, and eggs to your liking, and then delicious fruit cups. Actually, the fruit cups were made by us females prior to that day, but Cliff was the chef!

This is Desiree displaying the shirt for me to get a picture of. I wish now I had gotten one of those shirts for myself. Desiree worked hard in the preparations of Blogstock. She can also lift a bale of hay and toss it around like it's a peanut!
Here's Marilyn and Char in their cornfield neon shirts. These two ladies are so nice and sweet. They worked so hard getting all this ready too. They are like the energized bunny that just keeps going and going!
Finally Blogstock was over and I had to come home. On the way home I flew from Omaha to Detroit and this was taken close to Detroit. It looks like some kind of racetrack to me.
Blogstock08 was so much fun! Thanks again to all involved for the great memories!

I'm getting a kick out of all the Blogstock fun. What a difference this setting is from Miami. I love the first pic on the horses. I don't know if I would've dared to ride with a dress on, but I give Jamie Dawn credit. I love the pic of you she has up on her blog. I would've loved to have heard that laugh! :)

Hi Rachel, a fitting finale to Blogstock 08, I wish I had been there it was obviously a fun event as one would expect with the people who were involved.
Blogstock looked like it really was a lot of fun. How fun to ride horses!
My dear friend Hanna, who died in May, always use to say....."You made a memory.." when anyone did anything that was very special and or memorable...And YOU certainly did that Rachel, by going to BLOGSTOCK 08.....It looks like a GREAT Time was had by Everyone....And you should have gotten one of those shirts....Especially the "elctric"

I'm not tired of Blogstock '08 yet. It's almost like looking at pictures and reading stories from family members. I'm so happy that everyone had a good time.
It is nice when everyone works together for a cause and Blogstock was a good cause....Glad you had a great time.
I think that sometimes the storms will "rock" out boats, but it is up to us, with the help of the Lord, to stay inside the boat and not fall out.

Oh, I love horseback riding! Growing up my best friend had two horses and we'd spend every afternoon after school riding around her vast property. I just loved it. I'd love to go again sometime.

I love the horse pictures. That is a funny one of Jamie Dawn in that dress trying to control that horse. The farm looks like a beautiful place.
I will have to come back again next year just to ride down to the river! We didn't get to go that far. I am jealous, but YOU REALLY LOOKED GOOD THERE.

Can you believe what a friend we have in Ralph? I got a Blogstock '08 package from him with a book, some honey and some of that Cherry Jam that Char apparently cooked up.
My First Wife and I were terribly sad we missed, but we offered a little prayer for everyone's good fun, fellowship and safety.
To make up for missing this year, we're going twice next year.

I DID have trouble getting that horse to obey at first, but then I took those reins and showed him who was boss!! NO, you cannot eat corn!! NO, you cannot go that way!! I think that horse was actually laughing at me.
You are a natural on horses. I know you grew up with them and are very comfortable around them. I'm so glad you got to ride along the river like that. What a joy!
