AKRON, Ohio (AP) - A northeast Ohio man who was smacked in the nose by a stripper's platform-style shoe is suing a nightclub for $25,000 over injuries he says will require surgery.
Yusuf Evans says in a lawsuit filed Tuesday that he was seated near the stage at the XTC nightclub in Akron last year while a stripper nicknamed "Tiara" performed her routine.
Evans says demonstrative kick caused the stripper's 1970s-style thick-heeled shoe to fly from her foot and into his face. He says he's had trouble breathing ever since.
Evans' lawsuit in Summit County Common Pleas Court says XTC management allowed dancers to wear improper attire and required strippers to perform dances that made the stage "a hazardous area."
Evans says he doesn't normally frequent strip clubs, but made an exception when a cousin visited.

I say it's a good thing he wasn't hit with this shoe. How many agree with me that this shoe is ugly?? Hey, if you like it that's fine. I'm just giving my opinion!

In all honesty I have to tell you that I like that shoe. Oh my, what does that say about me? I'm betting the guy in the strip club will win his law suit and he was probably hit with a shoe that has less substance.
I like the shoe, too, but not to wear. I think it should be hanging in an art museum somewhere. Too bad she didn't lose both shoes and have the heels hit him in his eyes.

That is an ugly shoe and I wouldn't even want to use it as a door stop, it's so ugly.
That man's lawsuit is almost as bad as the guy who got his finger hurt as he was trying to stuff money in a strippers g-string. If men don't want to get hurt, they otta stay out of those places.
Yes, the shoe is ugly but, hey, you can wear it with almost any color!
Sounds too me, that when you sit that close to the stage you are taking your chances...lol. Maybe he should sit several rows back next time.

I think it is a shoe that is like a "show" shoe....something someone might wear to illustrate part of their character that they are playing, if you know what I mean....Pretty, it isn't! (lol) But it is interesting and colorful....Would I wear it? No Way Jose!

The last time I was in Akron that stripper nicknamed "Tiara" was throwing shoes too! She throws them at the googlers she doesn't like.
She had cute shoes that time. In fact there wasn't anything that wasn't cute about her. Mind you now, I got in there by mistake, I was trying to buy a loaf of bread.
