Sunday Signs

It was COLD this morning. I went to church and didn't even wear a coat. I didn't notice it here but when I got out of the car that wind was blowing and I sure noticed it then! Made me wish I had worn my coat.

Sunday Signs
Today's Sunday Signs both have the theme of love. We could all use more of that! I hope everyone is having a 'better than great' Sunday!!

Love is what makes the world go round! Great signs and it is so cold here today, too. That cake is absolutely beautiful. It is too pretty to eat but sounds like it was very tasty.

Not taking a coat is a mistake we wouldn't make in Nebr right now. It was 6 degrees when we left for church yesterday.
Rachel, the word verification never bothered me except for the times when the words were longer than my comment and you couldn't make them out.

I think I'm wishing so hard for warm weather, that I tend to go coatless out of sheer hope.
Go away, cold weather!!!!!

It's funny but that is my theme this week.
I'm not anything grand but I know He loves me and that makes all the difference in the world.

Thank God that spring is just days away. Now I just hope that Spring knows that it is supposed to warm up to at least 70 degrees, haha.

Those Sunday Signs say it very simply and understandable to all. If everyone would love one another we would never have wars and everyone would get along.

I wore my bathrobe to church. I worshiped via television. Our 8000 member congregation had a guest minister on Sunday and he was a young man my mother especially loved when he was an associate at our church. I loved his sermon and kept thinking how much mom would have loved to see all his current success.

A local church sign here says, "Money is tainted. Taint mine and taint yours." I'm not real clear on the religious aspect of that sign.

Hi Rachel, you need to take care of yourself and wear that coat. I'll bet you didn't have gloves on either.

Your church signs were nice, guess in that cold weather everyone has a one track mind.

I am in Louisiana right now, Mrs. Jim decided to run up to North Louisiana (Farmerville, north of Ruston) to see her sister. The dogs and I tagged along.

In Miami's degrees can drop rapidly in a number of minutes! I can understand how you must've felt walking out of your car.

The second church sign is an awesome quote. I'm jotting that one down!

Stay warm and enjoy your hump day!

I didn't get to church Sunday morning, because we had 6 inches of new snow! Most of it melted by the afternoon, but in the morning it was slick out there. I don't do well in slick. In December of 05, I was out filling the bird feeders and slipped and fell, and...broke my hip! It was a miracle I made it back into the house to call for help, after an hour of crawling. That is why I now pitch the seeds out when there is snow or ice.

I saw a nice church sign around here last week. "Faith is Exercise for the Soul."

It warmed up here today as well. We hit 59! It felt heavenly. Even warmer for the rest of the week. I think Spring will be here soon.

Have a nice evening, Rachel.
