Okay, I have figured out how to get pictures to download quicker. When I did this one it was being slow so I waved both hands out towards the screen and said a few magic words and waved my fingers at it while doing so, and it downloaded it. Yep folks, that's the trick. Bwaaahahahaha!!!!!
I'll be okay. Really I will. Oh, you also need to make a noise while doing the finger/hand wave thing, kind of like a cat hissing, only softer. Go ahead and try it the next time you want pictures to download faster. Just don't take my word for it.
If you notice to the right of this sign across the road is the place where the tobacco was hanging. That thing is more than half empty now, so they are stripping the tobacco (taking the leaves off the stalk). I had hoped to get over there and get some pictures to put on here. Another project to work on! I'm posting this on Saturday night because I never have time to get on here Sunday mornings. It's time for one of my favorite British comedies, "The Last of the Summer Wine," so I'm off to watch that! Have a terrific and blessed Sunday everyone.

Hi Rachel, I don't want to in any way diminish the hand gesturing and soft cat hissing sounds to assist in the downloading of pictures... BUT....
I think in this instance it was the sheer size of the picture that was retarding progress.
I checked a few of your other pics and they were of a more suitable size for quicker downloading.
There has to be a certain amount of satisfaction in the method you describe, so by all means continue with it.
I'll have to try your finger waving and silent, loud hissing sounds while downloading pictures. Even if the picture doesn't load any faster at least I will be amusing myself. *LOL*
I take a hammer and when Blogger sees that, the picture suddenly appears on my blog !
