FLOWERS. SUNDAY SIGN. HAPPY EASTER!!!

There are some lovely signs of spring about! I thought I'd take some pictures to share with everyone. I know some people still are having the cold and snow. I know we'll have some more cooler weather but all these flowers makes me feel good and cheers me up!!

One of our local churches has these 3 crosses with actual people on them on the eve of Good Friday. This year they moved the crosses so they are real close to the road. They always have the coroner's van there with his lights flashing. I tried to take a picture but it's not a very good one. There is nowhere to pull off to take a picture and it's a very busy intersection. If you click on the picture you can enlarge it and see it better.

I hope everyone has a truly blessed wonderful Easter!!

What a great church sign! And Happy Easter! I'm so jealous of your flowers. It looks warm in your photos, too. I went out bird watching today in 31 degrees with bitter winds. It's still hot chocolate weather.

I like your sign. It made me realize there are two, the Fisher of Men, and the other fisher of men. [Men being generic, OK?]
I had thought of spring pictures also. I have been taking them since late January when the first flowers started.
Maybe. Maybe next week.

I passed by crosses similar to those in another city, but the men were not on them at the time.

Yipee....Spring is finally here although today it's chilly. Your flowers are pretty and a good sign of spring. I love your church sign too.

HAPPY EASTER

Good Morning Rachel,
"HAPPY EASTER" and "HE IS RISEN" to you and yours. The flowers are just beautiful. We are still having a taste of some Winter temperatures here. It was 33 degrees earlier and tonight it's suppose to be 32 degrees. Wow, that is just awesome how those guys are hanging on the Cross like that. I do imagine they got alot of passerby's. I enjoyed the Church sign as always. Take care my friend and have a great Easter. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Nice to see your flowers! You are way ahead of us! They are telling us we should not be surprised to see a couple of snow flakes today... but no accumulation. Well, we shall see. It always snows on the daffodils at least once, even if it hasn't snowed all winter!
Enjoy the spring!

Your fower pictures made me happy, too. The men on the crosses pictures are very moving. I hope they made a lot of people think . And, as always, good wisdom on the church sign.

Great sign!

And the flowers are wonderful to look at knowing warmer weather is on its way. We are still having wishy-washy temps but we'll get there eventually.

Sorry I've been MIA, tech problems. But I'm back in the saddle again as they say.

Love the flowers! I miss pansies, I used to love them. I also love violets, my mother had violets popping up all over the yard, they used to be contained, but they are very hard to keep that way, wish they would pop up now so that I could transplant a few here. I loved her irises too, and have a few of those here from a couple of years ago, they are starting to peek thru the earth and some tulips too, hope they bloom! Hope your Easter was wonderful, and that you had a nice day in your neck of teh woods!

Hi Rachel Dear...
Sweetie is fine and dandy, though his fur is filled with knots and mucg mattedness....This is something that happens every year...But it does seem worse this year than ever....! You know his fur is soooo soft and long---Softer even than a Bunny Rabbitt, and he HATES me to come him...So, the winter fur gets all matted and knotty and each year has to get worked off and shed, and I often cut off as much as I can without hurting him....
So, right now he looks quite Raggedy....But he is as sweet as ever!
How are your dear Animals?
