Ramblings and Sunday Sign

Okay, it's almost 8 p.m. on Sunday night and I'm just now posting my Sunday sign!! Sorry I'm late.

I took this picture last week. This lady is in my Sunday School class. I told her that her feet looked so pretty. She thought I was totally insane to want to take a picture of her feet. But they are pretty, don't you think? You can also see our pretty new red carpet that was just put down at church in the whole auditorium. It's quite bright and matches our pews.

I went back to the apple orchard this week to pick my own apples. I really enjoy that. Those apples are so good. Nothing like you buy at the store. I have no trouble eating an apple a day (usually two or three!) with these apples!

We had frost on the 3rd, so my neighbor obviously though Laya needed a t-shirt on!! It was a bit baggy on her, but cute nonetheless!! She looks a little fierce but is quite sweet and gentle. He normally keeps her inside but lets her out during the day some.

I like the signs that this church has out. They often put up ones that relate to what is going on in the country or locally. Of course we all know what this relates to.
I hope everyone has had a wonderful blessed Sunday!

Oh Great! I'm first!
Indeed, her toes are BEAUTIFUL!

Oh how I wish I had FRESH Apples right off the tree, Rachel. That has to be fantastic! I don't really like what you get in most stores now...The apples have been held in some kind of weird Cold Storage and they just don't taste as good---Especially because you have NO idea how long they have been in that storage thingy...UGH!
I eat an apple every day so it would be so wonderful to have them truly truly fresh!

GREAT Sign....and yes, we sure do know what that refers to....lol!

A frost? I'm not ready yet!

We pig out on apples when they're ready locally. My favorite is the Fuji.

Hi Rachel, I like your church sign. I like your friends pretty feet too.
Your award is finally up on my blog, you can come get it when you have a minute.
I hope things are OK with you, you seem to be getting around pretty good and to a lot of places. :-)
..
We don't have any frost yet, but it has gotten down into the low 60's. Frost will come in Jan or Feb if it comes at all.

Mmmm, those apples look good! I'd like to have some to dry and to eat fresh. I'll have to look for a good deal on some fresh apples.

Hey, even doggies get cold, LOL! ;o)

That sign is so true!

Happy new week, Rachel. :o)

Love and hugs,

Diane

That dog is so cute in the t-shirt and the apples look great. I can just see that woman when you asked to take a picture of her feet. I bet she has told everyone! She does have pretty feet though and her polish matches the apples. Wish I had some of those apples to make a pie. Loved the sign.

Yes, her feet are beautiful! Nice pic.

And I'm so thankful God's plan IS the bailout - from sin!

She does have pretty feet. When I was doing my 100 things, after I was finished, my grandson said, "Did you tell them you have pretty feet?" I thought that was sweet. The apples look good. We have apples galore this season. They are so much better than what you buy in the stores. I like the Sunday sign...so true!

Your friend does indeed have pretty feet "how lovely on the mountains are the feet of him that bring good news" Is. 52:7

The apples look delicious and your neighbors dog is beautiful. We had a Boxer of our own and now have a new Boxer grand-pup, Louis.
Thank you for the photos.

Apples fresh from the tree - I bet they are good. I bought some at the store not long ago and Char told me they have no taste. It's just not the same.
Great Sunday sign.

That has to be one of the best signs yet! The lady in the church has nice feet (lucky her) and I really like her shoes. I love the smell of an apple orchard. I used to live near an apple orchard in SJ Valley, CA where they raised Fuji apples and there is nothing sweeter than their apples that tasted like cold, crisp honey.

I swear people know I have a blog when they see me taking pictures of the oddest things around, even my food in a restaurant! lol Her feet are indeed very beautiful:-)

We've had frost on quite a few mornings now so Autumn has really set in here. Laya looks cute in her t-shirt! hehe

I love going to the orchard to pick my own apples...Steve & I are going to Niagara Falls in a couple of weeks and I'm hoping there will still be apples to pick:-)

Love the Sunday sign:-) xoxo

Pretty feet, indeed. This is something I cannot say for myself since I have monster feet.

Bailout - we all know what that sign refers to.
Will someone bail me out, please??!!! Lower my mortgage 50% and my payments too, also, as well.
When I make dumb choices, will someone come rescue me??!!!

No frost here yet. We're down into the 50's at night, and still in the upper 80's in the daytime. Fall is on the way though. I'm starting to see some leaves change on a few trees around here, but not many yet. Cute dressed up doggie!!

Yummy apples! I'm sure they are the best since you are picking them straight from the tree, then eating them. Fresh is always best.

Have a nice week, dear friend.

:-)

Wonderful church sign.

Those fresh apples look delicious. It makes me feel like baking a homemade pie.

Funny, I took a pic of a pregnant friend's feet the other day and now you took a pic of a church lady's feet. Warning to pretty feet: You WILL end up on the internet! :)

Btw, the sign is priceless. Love it!

Your frost caught my eye. Please send some this way. We've been living in fear of an early frost but now the soybeans are about harvested and the corn is still half green. We need a frost to kill the corn plants and help the drying process along. I'm not keen on the idea of using propane to dry my corn crop. Too expensive for sure.
Glad you got the good apples. Nuttin better, eh Rachel?

Thank you dear Rachel, for your sweet sweet comment...And it is true. I DO miss my dear friend, more than I can say...!

Looking at these apples once again....OH How I wish I could have some, right this minute!

Oh those apples look so good! What kind are they?
We have an organic store about 30 miles from here and their fruit is awesome. I got a bag of Macintosh about a week ago... just trying for enough energy to make a pie!
Shall I save you a piece when I do?

My gravenstein tree is done producung for the season and the Fuji's aren't ready yet. We've had a few heavy frosts too so hopefully they will be ready soon. I love a crisp sweet apple too.

First off I want to say awesome blog! I had a quick question in which I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your head before writing. I've had a
tough time clearing my thoughts in getting
my ideas out there. I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are
generally wasted just trying to figure out how to begin.
Any suggestions or hints? Many thanks!
