America!!

This picture was taken at the entrance to one of our local churches. I love the fact that they put this up. The church is to my back and what you see in the background is the back of a gas station.

We must never take our freedom for granted.

Hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July!!

Love the picture and the sign. We need all the help we can get these days the way this country is being run.

Nice job to you and whom ever put that display up. Amen
I see you haven't been much better than I about blogging. Busy time of the year isn't it.
The old Post Office photo brings back memories of the little offices I remember from when I was a kid.

Hi Rachel ~~ I'm still in London but will be home on Tuesday evening. I like your sign. It must be on the edge of the parking lot?

I am glad you could get a week of R&R. You are so dedicated.

You Post Office picture reminded me of the one my greatgrandfather, Grandpa Fletcher, had in Fletcher, Nebraska, which was near Herman. It was also a general store.

A tornado blew everything down and away so the store was closed. I think the PO had been terminated before that.

Thanks for being a 'friend.' I don't know what got into me for being 'Oscar.' Everyone knows me and I can't change it.
