INQUIRING MINDS

Inquiring minds want to know.... and I want to know something. I know that you clever bloggers that read my blog know how to do this and I'm hoping that you can tell me.

When you post pictures and you say to click on it to enlarge... how do you do that? I resize my pictures and if you click on them they might be a little bigger but not full page.

Oh, never mind. I figured it out on my own. If you click on this old boat it'll go full size!
Oh, I'm so proud of me!! Some pictures are so much prettier when they are enlarged. This one below is the lake bottom that is so full of weeds. Look how green they are!!! If you click you can make it larger.
Right now we are finally getting some rain. It is only sprinkling but that's better than nothing and it's been sprinkling for an hour or so. We have a better chance tonight and tomorrow. I need everyone reading this to please cross everything you have two of, in the hopes that it will rain! Only cross things if you can do so without too much pain!!! Don't want to make it hitonious for you!!

I'm a-crossin' things! And for us too. We're also in an extreme drought here in Northeast Arkansas. The trees are dropping leaves already like it's Fall. It's getting desperate around here but we have a chance of rain for the next few days.

Hoping and praying, for both of us!

Hugs,

Diane

Rachel, I'm crossing things for you also. They don't always come in two's, some are one's, three's, and four of them are five's.
Oh well, I'll do the best I can.

We didn't get any rain today, and not much yesterday. It rained around us and Houston got almost flooded, the streets were.

I see Britmum posted, I will visit her. If she looks at my blog, I will get her out of the Bone Yard.

There were more blogs than I could read in the time I had so I got the ones who don't read and leave a comment at least once in a while will go off the link list.
That way I can keep up with those who seem to care.

Your boat is a real "fix 'er upper", a challenge for a handiman!

Your lack is reduced to a stream. By the time they repair the dam you will have trees growing on the old lake bottom.

You get another raffle entry JUST for using hitonious in this post!!!!
I LOVE seeing that word being used!!!!!

I enlarged that lake photo. Not much water there, but boy those weeds are growing like... uh.... weeds.

We got a good rain for about half an hour or so yesterday. Not enough, but I was happy to get any.
I'm hoping our rain made its way to YOU!!

I was glad to see the first picture. It clears up a lot. You see I heard you were getting a little dingy.
Also the crossing things made me think of an old joke about a dumb blonde. She was on a swim team and got in a race with 3 other girls. They were to use the breast stroke. She lost and complained at the end that the other three girls had used their arms.

Wow!!! those pictures were bigger than my screen when I clicked on them. I had to scroll over to see the boat. NOW....you were the one who taught me to click on a word and it takes me to a web page. Would you be so kind to teach me how to enlarge the picture by clicking? I will be forever thankful. Do you still have my E-Mail addy?

LOL, LOL, LOL..I LOVE YOU RACHEL....
Isn't it thrilling when you figure these things out? And how you did that I don't know, but I am SOOOO Happy for you that you did!

Please do stop by and see this AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFLY Flower I have posted....It is "otherworldly" I think, and I think you will just love it...you have such an artful soul, my dear....

I am doing the "RAIN" incantions, right now, for you, my dear...And could you do that for us here, too, please? Here in L.A., it is almost September 1st, and we are having a beastly beastly heat wave WITH Humidity...THIS PLACE wheret I live, which used to be, A DESERT...That used to have dry dry heat...Well, no longer, my dear Rachel. And people question "Global Warming"
We have not had rain since April, and it wasn't that much then..!

I AM Crossing everything I can....I hope amd pray you have the rain that you need there, my dear....

And I ope you have a wonderful Holiday weekend, dear Rachel...

I braided my hair. How's that for crossing lots? Millions of hairs on my head all crossed just for you. Well, maybe not millions because I've lost a bunch of my hair, but close.

The pictures are great. Put that old boat on eBay and prepare for an onslaught of bidders.

We survived floods in June and now we are hot and dry and getting dryer.

Rachel, what's the story on the boat? How did it get there? Where is this lake bed? Come on now you know you have to be a better reporter than that!!! I want facts.

Rachel,
I cannot believe how the draught has affected the lake. Does it smell icky? Can you walk on it?
