Sunday Signs

The way its been so hot here is probably how they thought of this first sign, since it seems most everyone has been complaining about the heat! We still haven't had any rain yet either, but we have a big 40% chance tomorrow. Then that makes it a 60% chance that it WON'T rain. I hope the 40% wins out.

I sure hope you have some rain, Rachel. Then I can uncross my things.
We had a lot of foxes out in the hills in Nebraska, I never did see one. They sure did howl at night.

If you like, when I come back from the rest of our Scotland/Isle of Man trip I can send you some links of a columnist--he is in his eighties now--in our Houston Chronicle who has found a talking horse (it might be a mule, I can't remember good) and I could send you some links to read those day's columns.

This will be my last comment too, look for me to be MIA for a while.
Cliff thinks you could bail me out if you would.

Great signs Rachel. We rae expecting Fall temperatures here today. They said the high today will be 62, tomorrow in the mid 50's. It's heading your way.

I just did a rain dance in my living room for you.

Was that a church sign? How funny! It's not so funny that you're dealing with so much heat! It's incredibly hot in Miami as well...for this time of year. I am just so thrilled we don't have any "tropical disturbances" out in the Atlantic. That would be worse than the heat.

Enjoy your Sunday!!

We got another good rain this morning. Maybe this weather system will make its way to you. I sure hope so!
I like both those signs, and that second one is certainly true.
Your smiling face is on my blog. I just posted about our meeting. What fun it was to relive it again and to look at the pics.
I haven't had to clobber anyone on the head with my Hillbilly Man Tamer YET. I'm looking at it right now. I keep in on the window sill in the bedroom. I like having it close at hand, just in case I need to use it!

Both these signs are quite marvelous Rachel...! I love that there is a sense of humor in these.
I'm sorry that Jamie's Rain Dance did not work! Boo Hoo! Maybe, with any luck, the 40% will win out. I hope so, my dear!

I love both these signs Rachel. Rain was predicted for three of the four stops on our cruise and we got sunshine... in Alaska! That's unusual for that time of year, so maybe it's a changing weather pattern or something??

Love those sayings! It actually cooled off here today, had a little rain so all is good. I actually had a fleeting moment of feeling like fall. It didn't last very long though.

Gidday Rachel,

It must be climate change (so they say) and it appears to be dry everywhere. We are in our longest drought EVER and the bit of rain we sometimes get, does nothing to fill up our dams. If we don't get more rain soon we will be going onto level 6 drought conditions which means no more watering outside anywhere, anytime.
