Blech!

Yesterday I spent in bed all day. Early in the morning, around 3:00 a.m. I started spewing from both ends. Let me tell you, that is no fun whatsoever. I had heard that this bug was going around. Well, I'm glad to have it behind me. Blech. I feel so much better today. Kind of tired, but much better.

Today is voting day. I went out earlier and got that done.

One day while I was going through some papers and cutting out some items to keep, I took these pictures of Gooseberry trying to help. I just toss all the loose papers on the floor and then when I'm finished I just pick them up and put them all in the trash. In this first picture it looks like she is giving Pup a massage!

Good Afternoon Rachel,
Sorry to hear that you were sick, but I am glad you are feeling better. I tell ya, I just hate being sick that way, coming from both ends. LOL. I guess the change in the weather is making everyone sick. Since my kids are in school, stuff like that goes around. I always hate it for them. Those pictures of you dog and cat are adorable. It does look like the cat is giving the dog a massage. Take care of yourself my friend. Drink plenty of liquids and if I was there, I would make you some homemade chicken noodle soup. God Bless.

Hugs,
Karen H.

You probably caught some bug at the hospital...lots of germs there. Glad you are better now. It's no fun not knowing whether to stand or sit over the toilet.
Gooseberry & Pup are so adorable and I'm glad you had your camera handy to get those cute pictures of Gooseberry under all those papers.

Hi Rachel -- I am sorry also that you were sick. It isn't any fun.

I got Montazuma's cousin's revenge the last couple of day in Guatemala. It lasted until yesterday and then cleared up.
But now I have the worlds worst cold. That started yesterday and today I have just about lost my voice.

Those flowers, impatiens, might last all year, they are really at Karen's house.
We had them in Friendswood, south of Houston, and never had to replant them. They lasted and/or seeded themselves.
Karen and Billy live just west of Houston, south of I-10, in Katy, Texas. It has become a suburb.

Anyway, Adi was taking her bear to the car as we were going home. Adi had spent the week there.
I made her turn around and come back for the photo op.

Our pets don't play in them, but we do have a pile on the floor by the table waiting for a paper bag to magically appear.
The bag and all go to recycling in Conroe.

Ugh! The same bug or something similar has been making the rounds here as well. I'm so thankful that it's passed me by so far.

Glad you're feeling better!

Your furkids are adorable, and I just love that picture of Gooseberry with her mouth open!

Hugs,

So sorry you've been sick. Just think of the weight loss and the six pack abs you've have now from wretching.

Take care. And don't eat much till you're sure the bug has left you.

Gooseberry and Pup remiind me of babies/toddlers on Christmas morning. They alway show great interest in the wrapping paper and bows, and sometimes not so much interest in the actual gift.

I'm glad you are on the mend.
When you say that virus was BEHIND you, you really meant it. I'm sure your BEHIND wasn't happy!!!
I hope your bohunkus is happy now.

Get plenty of rest and drink lots of OJ, and DON'T get out and about until you are fully recovered.
You don't want a recurrence of BEHIND troubles.

I'm glad you did your duty as a voter.
It's important for each of us to use the power of our single vote. Democracy in action!!
