LANDED JUST IN TIME FOR THANKSGIVING!!!

Today I was out for a drive when I ran across this little spaceship and this alien being sitting/standing on top of it. I guess there is life out there after all. If this is what they look like though it's pretty frightening!! I think it/they just came for the Thanksgiving food!

Here's a closer look.

Thank you all for your kind words on my last post. Things have calmed down around here and are back to normal. My husband is doing better with no red spots and no fever. I am okay, and Pup is feeling much better too. Pup must have hurt himself somehow. He is now able to jump onto the bed without me helping him. He has gone from walking to trotting. A few more days and I think he'll be good as new!
I hope everyone has a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving and enjoy the time with family and friends, and remember all the things we have to be thankful for.
It's That Time Again
The days are getting shorter now.
I feel a snow flake on my brow.
The leaves are crackling as I run,
The squirrels' searching almost done.
The turkey's restless in the pen,
Oh! No! I see my breath again!
It makes a person take a pause
And think about old Santa Claus!!!

Rachel, I think that spaceship person had the wrong month. They were hanging around here for Halloween.

I'm glad Pup and the rest of your bunch are getting better. Adi hurt her back jumping off the bed once. Now she is afraid to get on the bed.

Happy Thanksgiving to you guys et alia. See you again at Blogstock '09 this summer.

The little town of Moonbeam, Ontario, (7 hours drive north of here) has a flying saucer as it's claim to fame. http://www.oobject.com/flying-saucers/flying-saucer-moonbeam-ontario/2190/
There are those who believe aliens stopped by their town.

Your little alien "bon homme" is uglier than most.

Rachel, I went back and read your last post....I'm so sorry that everyone in the house was sick...I am so glad that you were able to get the antibotics you needed for your husband....

It is good to hear that everyone is better now, even pup. The road to your brothers house looks heavenly. I am glad that you were able to get away for a day, especially since your week was so hectic.

I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving and YES, we have much to be thankful for. I wish I could just come over and give you a big hug...

Where did you find that alien and ship?
I'm glad to hear that all of you are now better. Seems like most of our kitties are feeling a little sick and NO!!! they didn't eat none of my Thanksgiving cooking.

Wow, what a blessing to be able to retreat to such a lovely place after all your sickness of the previous week. That road looks like a great place for a horseback ride.

That's a really sweet poem.

The space ship and alien are funny. I've never seen anything like it. Wouldn't it be fun to have at Halloween time? LOL

I'm glad you had a nice Thanksgiving, Rachel, and you and your husband are both feeling better. My family left Friday night for home, and a bug came to visit me! Now I feel like crap!

Take care!

Aliens have landed in Kentucky!!!
Take cover and get our your guns!!!!
YIKES!
I think that alien heard about those fancy cakes you learned how to decorate, and he wants one.

I hope you enjoyed a tasty Thanksgiving.
I'm so glad that Phil and Pup are both doing better.
