Days to Reflect
We had a couple of beautiful days this week. Days to get the lawn mowed and some flowers planted. Days to enjoy the spring flowers and the trees as they begin to bud out and bloom. Days to sit on the porch and sip ice tea and just relax. Days to reflect on the beauty of nature and just be thankful for what we have.
I hope all my blogging friends have had a wonderful week and a very blessed Sunday!

We have been having some of those days also. For us though the snow needs to be driven away before lawn cutting and flower planting. I think you are about 6 weeks ahead of us in the season.
Sounds wonderful and peaceful. Enjoying the simple pleasures of life can be so calming.

These past couple of days has made me forget the long, terrible winter we had to go through. Life is renewed each spring. It's beautiful. Great church sign.
We have had a few nice days as well. Heavy rain will be here Monday morning though and it's going to hang around for Tuesday as well. Sigh
We have also had some beautiful days. Almost time to start mowing the lawn. That's ok, it's better than shoveling snow! The first part of the week is calling for rain though and I don't mean to complain, but my poor son has his school golf matches scheduled for Mon and Tues and it looks like they will be rained out. I feel so bad for him.
Hi Rachel, I guess we are having "Dogwood Winter" this week-end. It is rather chilly. We had three really warm days last week....just enough to get your hopes up that Spring is here.
Nice sign Rachel.
Saturday we got 10" of snow. Sunday it all melted. You have to love this time of year.

I loved the great days we just had and now am ready for some more. I don't want anymore rain for a while! Great sign.
That sign cuts to the truth.
I agree that having some nice, warm spring days has sure been a pleasure. We've had a lot of rain too, but it hasn't been cold, so it's been just fine.
One of these days, I hope to sip some sweet tea WITH you!
:-)

Today, it was 100 here....!!! Too hot for April...Much Too Hot! And it is supposd to cool down so that by Wednesday, SUPPOSEDLY, it will be in the 60's....My body cannot keep up! (lol)

Once again a great sign. Love the signs you find and share
The sign is priceless...so true!
I hope you keep kicking back and enjoying your trees and flowers all summer long! Remember to sip the tea slowly...especially if it's spiked! :)
Hi Rachel...Hope all is well with you...and your hubby.
Have a great rest of the week
lots of love to you
Jess
I've been enjoying the weather, too. The mornings are still cool, which makes the afternoon sun bearable. Next month, the humidity rolls in and it gets miserable, so I'm enjoying it while I can.
Yo-Yo weather - that's what we are having. In the T-storm we had yesterday, it dropped to 46. They say it will be in the 80s over the week-end!
Really like the Church sign. Excellent message for EVERYONE! Gotta remember that one!
Spring has definately sprung! I love our green grass...Not looking forward to that humidity that Fred was talking about....So far, it has been a pretty cool spring.
How nice of you to share those moments with us. Thanx!
