Happy Easter!!!!!

Friday we had storms again and this time there was a tornado in our county, but it was up on the northern end and we live in the southern part. Thankfully, no one was killed, and I haven't heard of any injuries either. When those cold fronts and warm fronts get together it means trouble a lot of the time.

Before the storms came I set out some plants I had gotten. One was a rose, some canna lillies, hosta, and bleeding hearts. They got a good dose of water, so I hope they do well. We did get lots of rain so I pulled some weeds yesterday. I even managed to pull up a few clumps of those blasted wild onions that dot our lawn here and there.
I hope everyone has a very blessed and happy Easter! I'm posting this a little earlier than usual since I doubt I'll be on here tomorrow.

Hi Rachel! Happy Easter to you and your family.

We had rain and wind all day yesterday. We are lucky here. We get some bad storms, but nothing major.

Have a great day. Lisa

Rachel, I am glad that all you got was rain and not a tornado....We got a little bit of rain from the front.

That last church sign says it all..Without the cross there is no Easter.

I wanted to let you know that this morning I availed myself of the last of my pay-it-forward gifts: the flower seed tape! You certainly gave me gifts that keep on giving.

Hi Rachel, I hope your Easter was nice.

Too bad about the tornados. I stay away from the midwest in the spring because of tornados. (I stay away in the winter because of the snow, the summer because of the heat, and the fall because.)

A tornado hit Mena, AR and then the storm came right through Hot Springs. No tornadoes touched down here.
Guess what?? I got some chocolate truffles today from Jerry Wiley. I was THRILLED!!! I am limiting myself to two per day, so I don't ruin my diet. My will power is weak, so it's likely I'll have those truffles wiped out by the end of the weekend.
:-)
My scented cow candle in burning right now right next to me. It really smells gooood!

Hope you had a great Easter, Rachel. We had a tornado tough down about 10 miles from here on Monday. It's amazing how dark the sky got within a few minutes. If you can, send the rain down here...we need it badly.

Happy Easter to you too. I'm glad the storm missed you.
I loved the stories in your last post. And the pics in this one. Hope you are well R. Later.

Catching up on reading blogs. I thought your first painting was great. I could never do that. Your cake was gorgeous to. I haven't even cleaned up my flower beds yet this spring. It seems to rain or snow every weekend. If it warms up this afternoon, I may go out and start on on the beds.
