Sunday Sign Plus
This afternoon I went to see these guys. They are called the Moron Brothers. They were playing at an old school about 2 miles from here. They are not actually brothers and they do a routine that has singing, picking, and comedy. I laughed at them so much my jaws were hurting!! I truly enjoyed it! I took this photo from their website, and this picture was taken when they were playing at Renfro Valley last year. I got a bargain by seeing them here since Renfro Valley is kind of pricey. I paid $5 today and took some canned goods for God's Food Pantry to get in. A true bargain for so much funny entertainment. They write a lot of their songs and some are funny and some are very serious.
We ended up getting about 4 inches of snow the other night and it was perfect for making snow-people. They had leaves and bits of grass all in them, but I made 3 adult snow-people and 2 smaller snow-people! It was a beautiful snow and so pretty sticking to all the trees. The rain came and the snow went.
This next picture I took at night after the rain had been pouring down. My snow-people were melting away. Look at those tiny heads!! If you look at the one on the left and see that yellow stain at the bottom.....yeah...the dog paid that one a visit! The one on the right is leaning back saying, "Hey man! What's that smell?"

The Moron Brothers look like fun! But I imagine that Cliff and Ralph could give them a run for their money.
We have a Lord's Food Pantry here too!
The Moron Brothers sound like a real hoot! That would be a show I would enjoy. Local shows are sometimes the best!
I do hope we are done with the snow for the year. Today was wonderful! It was only about 50 degrees, but it was sunny and a welcome change from what we have been having. Have a blessed week!
I love the church sign. I bet the Moron Brothers were really funny. I need to get out and get some humor like that to get me through the rest of our spring. Spring out west is glorious, spring up here is just a long time without leaves or snow.
I am glad you had so much fun with the snow. I remember feeling the way you did when I was younger and lived where the snow didn't stay all Winter. When it comes and stays for 5 or 6 months, it doesn't seem like so much fun. Or am I just feeling old these days?
Who picked out their name? I bet they were a hoot to watch. With a name like the Moron Brothers they would have to be funny.
Good church sign...and I'm glad that you got out and enjoyed playing in the snow.
If you can play guitar and/or banjo you can entertain everone all you want!
Moron Brothers, ha I love it.
Your snowmen look awesome by the way ;) lol
Glad you had a good time at the show... and I love the sign this week!
Hope all is well wtih you and that you have a great week
Love, Jess
Those snow people are so funny! I saw the Moron Brothers in Nicholasville with J.D.Crowe last year. They are a riot. Love the sign.
WOW! Look at your snow! Ours was about a half inch deep and lasted about an hour. Have not had enough to make even a snow squirrel!
It has been raining since Friday, but we have been real dry for a while, so we need it.
Good Morning Rachel.

One post talks about the temperature in the 70's the next about snow - sounds like Spring is almost here. Love this time of year.
Great sign.

I cannot believe you've had some more snow, my dear....OY!
So glad you had a great time at The Moron Brothers....The name alone makes me laugh!
Snow people? You're not serious?
I'm glad to hear it was the dog and not a snow people 'accident.'
The duo sounds like fun and there's nothing better than good entertainment right at home. Good to hear you're having fun.
btw, I'll have a nickel scoop of vanilla on a piece of the great looking cake. Nice job.
Aww...snow people! How cute. I bet the Moron Bros. were fun. :)

The Moron Brothers look like the Southern version of Cheech & Chong! What fun!

Hi Rachel,
Moron brothers sound like a funny duo. Nothing more fun then some good laughs! Love your snow man, although I must say snow is a dirty word in my book! lol.
Love the church sign. We do a food pantry, too.
Have a great Sunday!
Hugs and blessings,
Renie
Hi Rachel, I first thought you said The Monroe brothers. Then after I read a few comments I saw Moron brothers. The name is enough to make you laugh. I bet they ARE funny. Love the snow people even tho they got peed on. And love the sign. Have you ever felt like you wanted to run away (not exactly from temptation) but just run away and not leave a forwarding address?
Hi Rachel...I haven't been around too much lately....A lot going on here so my time for Blogging is rather limited right now...
I had LOVELY Visit with Jamie and her dear family. Now I have met them all, except her parents...! They sure have a great time with each other....And we had fun...It was a welcome respite, for me....
I hope all is well with you, my dear.
My dad showed me a You Tube video of The Moron Brothers. He would LOVE to see them!! I bet it was a lot of fun.
