Fish Story and Sunday Sign
All week long I've been meaning to get up a post, but it just didn't happen.
We have been getting lots and lots of rain, but I think this coming week they are calling for more sunny skies. It's been a battle trying to get the lawn mowed at a time when it's not wet or raining. The weeds are having a party with all this rain!
I got two knockout roses recently and it's been too wet to put them out yet. Hopefully I'll get that done this week as well. They are so pretty. I'd like to get some more of them later on.
I am taking yet another cake decorating class. This is the cake that I made Thursday night. It turned out better than I expected! With the cake being made already it took 2 1/2 hours to carve the fish and decorate it. Our teacher said she had made one before for a groom's cake. Looks fishy doesn't it?? Haha!

I have to say that I find it hard to believe that that is a cake. Before I read it was I was wondering what kind of fish it was. It resembles a bass I think. My goodness you are sure doing some professional looking cakes!

OK, your Fish Cake has inspired me. I must say, I am impressed... never thought of doing anything like that... but it would be perfect for my neighbor - an avid fisherman who is forever telling us tales of his BIG ones - but, of course, he just had to send it back to the Bay - it was just too beautiful to keep...
