Weird Things About Me
I was tagged by Abandoned in Pasadena to do a meme telling 6 weird things about me. Well......anyone who knows me knows that there is nothing weird about me at all. Absolutely nothing.
But I will give it a shot!
1. I hate for people to have their hair hanging in their eyes. Either cut it off or tie or clip it back!
(Martha Stewart always bugged me with her hair in her eyes.)
2. I hate using public bathrooms unless absolutely necessary.
3. My fingers are double jointed. I used to entertain the other kids on the school bus with my double jointed fingers!
4. I have some obsessive compulsive behavior issues. I always check the door at night at least a couple of times to make sure it's locked, even though I know darned well that I did lock it already!
5. In the bathroom the toilet paper must pull from the top down. If I'm at your house and it has to be pulled from the bottom then I just might change it to the CORRECT way!
6. The same applies for paper towels. They must pull from the top!

Thanks for playing the meme game. It's a nice way to get to know how weird your friends REALLY are.
We clearly disagree on #5...If you came to my house you'd have to change the roll of toilet tissue to wind your way and as soon as you left I would have to change it back...Of course, you see how nice I am...I would wait until you left the house.
But, on the other hand...we agree on #4.
I also have obsessive compulsive behavior issues and I have to recheck a door which I have just finished locking...and then maybe just give it another quick check.

I totally agree with #5 and #6. I am the same way.
When the toilet tissue is over the top you can find where it starts; when it's on the underside you have to dig for it. God knows we've got enough digging to do already!

If the end is down under or in back it is really hard to find.
With it hanging down from the back, the walls get so dirty with people fishing for the TP.

Have you stopped going to bighappy? Cause I pretty much have...it semed to getting like a chat room and it doesn't seem to be about the photigraphs so much anymore. What are your thoughts?
Not so weird Rachel, I too have OCD issues, although I won't get into it here, and they really don't have anything to do with locking the door. So anyhow, DOn't feel so weird!
#5--toilet paper pulling from the top--it drives me nuts my mother hangs hers to pull from the bottom and not the CORRECT way. She claims I hang it wrong--back & forth we go. One day I changed her paper to hang correctly...whew! did she ever get mad! Fun reading your meme list!
my paper towels stand up on a vertical paper towel holder. should i pull them from the right or the left? :)
My hubby does the toilet paper thing and now it's rubbed off on me. I check to make sure I lock up at work a few to many times,my daughter bugs me when she does that double jointed thing with all parts of her body.I tell her don't you'll get arthritis.Nerdy mommy thing. good job
Yep - looks like you are indeed WEIRD - just like the rest of us.
Neat list. I agree about the hair thing. Double jointed fingers how neat. When we moved into our place a year and a half ago there were no toilet paper holders and guess what we haven't put any up we just like to grab it from the back of the toilet.
I always check to see if the door is locked - sometimes my room mate has already done it but sometimes not so it is better to be safe then sorry. Liked your list - you aren't any weirder then the rest of us bloggers.

Oh my, I'm your weird twin on each and everyone as well as the reasons!
P.S. I have other weird habits though, except what is "weird to one person" is normal to another!
You know what?...I have to take back the toilet tissue issue...I have checked all of our rolls and they all wind down from the top/front.
That must have been in another lifetime that I was thinking about...when someone was always thinking of conserving paper, because you sure can't unwind it very easily when it comes from behind & below the roll.
Hope your day is going well...I have been outside all day and just came in for a bite to eat. It is soooo beautiful today.
Shouldn't EVERYONE know that toilet paper and paper towels get pulled from the top? What IS this world coming to these days anyway!?!? And hand towels... have you ever noticed how some people just don't know how to fold and hang hand towels?
