Sunday Two-Fer!

This second sign comes to me courtesy of Ralph. The is not the actual picture since I had to make this sign. But this is what the sign said. Ralph said the DNC security would not let him park and take a picture. Well...are we surprised? We all know how threatening Ralph looks! heehee
Hope everyone is having a blessed Sunday. Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side, keep on the sunny side of life.................

GOOD ONES, my dear....!

And I am done with all the voting now---The last Ballot went into the mail LATE yesterday afternon. It took me a lot longer than I thought it would, but that was because I had not calculated the amount of hours certain things took to watch....One was about 11 or 12 hourse....!
But it is done now. Now I have to get back to ALL the other things in my life that got put on "hold"....!
Thanks for your visit, my dear!

Hi Rachel, these are a couple of good songs! I like either.
I won't be watching any conventions hardly because Texas vote is already decided.
We don't even have presidential or very many general election commercials to watch. The Primaries are a bear though.

I'm glad Ralph is the one in Denver and not me. It is comforting to know that at least we've got all of those types corraled in one place.
Sorry about the neighbors horse. What a freak deal.
Thanks for giving us the finger...picture.

Hey! I'm a Democrat, and even I think these are funny!

And I was living in New York City when the Republican convention was here a few years ago, and I assure you, it was CHAOS!! Absolute chaos!

Good luck! It'll be over soon! :-)

Hope you have a great week,
Sammy

I enjoyed your two signs.

American political conventions can be exciting. I sometimes thing if the security was there to secure the right to protest and free speech rather than frustrate it things would go better. Remember the 1989 Convention in Chicago had officially a "police riot". The last Republican Convention in New York resulted in police misbehaviour that recently resulted in a judgement which cost the city money.

I hope all goes well in Denver.

I have also been wondering how your river is doing. Have you had more rain this year to help fill it.

LOL, poor Denver. I do my best to keep on the sunny side, though that's been a bit hard lately what with Fay and all. Gonna build an arc if that next storm heads our way.

It's easy to stay on the sunny side with signs like this! I'll have to look back at some Blogstock photos to see what the threatening Ralph looks like! :)

Good signs, Rachel.

I had some catching up to do here and the story of Shadow just broke my heart!

And I wish your husband a belated Happy Birthday!

Hey Rachel, I'm glad you're getting more rain. I just did another rain dance yesterday morning for you. :-)
..
Iowa looks a lot like Nebraska except it doesn't have as much character. And it isn't famous for as much either.
So since you were close (across the river) you didn't miss much.
Jerry LZ had several posts about Iowa but he didn't find anything very exciting either.

Hello dear Rachel:-)

I didn't realize I hadn't visited you in such a long time...tsk tsk tsk! Today I'm trying to catch up with everyone and hopefully I can stay caught up! lol

Love the signs...I don't envy you all the campaigning that's been going on in the States!!! I'm afraid I'd be miserable because I can't stand any politician! lol xoxo

Hi Rachel and thank you for visiting me today. I like your name very much. I have a sister named Rachel.

I'll have to check Ralph out to see what he's all about, lol.

Oh, what part of Kentucky are you in? I live near Nashville, Tn.

I'm sure any city that hosts a huge political convention needs prayer. Protests, traffic... what a headache!
I haven't watched any of the DNC, and I probably won't watch the RNC either. I've already heard the candidates give several speeches, and I'm kind of tired of both of them.

:-)

I'm happy!!!
I'll try to stay that way!

Hi Rachel,

Thank you for your visit today. I have never heard of the weight loss program you belong to (can't remember the name of it now). I just wanted to reply by saying that I am also a stress eater. It must be terribly hard for you to be taking care of your husband while trying to take care of your own needs at the same time. I gained up to almost 200 pounds when my Mom was down and I was traveling 100 miles round trip to see about her at least once a week and more some weeks. You have to plan what you are going to be eating, and with taking care of a loved one there is no time for planning things for yourself. I completely understand.
