What a cat! What a good good cat. What greater gift can a cat give? My husband went to work and opened his briefcase bag and there inside was a gray toy mouse. He was kind of embarrassed but thought it was funny. He called me to ask if I had put it there but I didn't. A gift from the cat and he was grateful it wasn't a real one.
Rachel, that cat loves you! They show their hunting skills to please and impress you. :)
I love it! Also like your church sign, did I ever not?

Hi Rachel, I have a pair of clogs I use for the very same thing you do. I don't have a cat anymore though. I had a cat that brought me a snake one time. She must have really loved me because she was always bringing stuff. She brought a fish, too. Better keep a watch on what is in those shoes! Great sign. Have a good week.
Good thing you saw it before slipping the shoe on.
Does that mean we're both originally from Arkansas? I go barefoot until its time to run outside then I slip on the shoes by the door. I shall certainly think twice before I put those on now. That mouse is such a generous gift from a cat.
I need to heed that Sunday sign. I'm afraid I try the advice route too often.
Hi Rachel! LOL! I'm lucky. My fur children don't bring me gifts. I guess they think they are gift enough. They're right. Lisa
LOL, LOL....What a GREAT Picture Rachel. How perfect that He/She left the mouse right in your shoe so you would be sure to find this WONDERFUL Gift! A Perfect Cat Gift, isn't it?
Great Sign, too....!
What a thoughtful cat. Love that Sunday sign.

At least the mouse was dead. One of my sister's cats used to bring live mice, frogs and even crawdads into the house and turn them loose! Not a pleasant smell when they'd eventually crawl up in a corner somewhere and expire, lol. ;o)
My daffodils are a 6 inches high and already have buds on them. I'm afraid they may get frostbitten still yet.
Happy March 1st, Rachel. Hard to believe how fast this year is getting away from us!
Love and hugs,
Diane
I am sure glad that Mrs' LZ didn't see that mouse on the clogs... she'd have never ever worn them again! ~ jb///
Mercy!! I do not have a cat. The last one I had brought a snake in the house. Bye-bye kitty!
i think it is a funny story
sometime we get a problem with mouse
hahaha-Rachel!!
Well, so far my little cat, Lucy, has only brought me birds! Come to think of it I'd be happier if she was bringing mice instead of the beautiful birds!! :(
Oh well-'It is what it is!' as a friend of mine is very fond of saying!
I trust you gave the wee mouse heart massage and mouth to mouth resusitation before you gave up on it. :)
Cats have a habit of bringing home treasures like this uneated morsel. Mine normally only do it when they are trying to get their kittens to eat solid food. Do you have a mothering cat????
It looks like the cat is a very generous animal.
Marilyn has a 'kennel cat' now that brings her mice and squirels and rabbits. We think it might be crossed with a cougar or something.
But he is just a big white fluffy hunter.
Oh noooo! I can't imagine finding a mouse in my shoe!! I suppose from a cat's point of view it's the most wonderful gift you could give, but ew, no, no, no...I don't like rodents!
Thank God my cats only bring me lizards! :)
mouse can be a serious problem if we don't stop it
