It's True, It's True, It's True!

A recent sunset!

I'm a very lazy blogger
It's true, it's true, it's true
But I do think often of my blogging friends
And you know this means you.

My Christmas was good
Spent with neighbors so sweet
I ate until I was well stuffed
Nearly having to be helped to my feet!

The New Year came
With nothing much going on
I did hear some celebrating booms
As soon as the old year was gone.

We have had warm days
And we have had some rain
That turned into sleet and then snow,
That was just a pain!

Our weather is usually mild
So when the wind blows hard and long
Making the wind chill factor go down
You just feel chilled to the bone.

Over this holiday time
My husband has been puny
With vomiting and a fever
Making me quite looney.

He's feeling much better now
After antibioitics through and through
So life is back to normal here
I wish all the best to you.

I'll hopefully be blogging more
And keeping you up with the latest
Hoping all is well with everyone
And hoping your 2012 is the greatest!

Thank you Rachel, for this nice update! We all still check the "Lazy Bloggers" still every now and then. Oops, I see Jerry updated 12-21-2011 and I didn't realize it until just now!

I love your poem even though every item wasn't pleasant for you. Life has its ups and downs. (My latest back surgery was two and a half weeks ago now and I am pretty well recovered.)

Once in a while I peek in on your FB too but not everyone of us oldies do that trick. So please keep on keepin' on with the blog, it is sooooo enjoyable to read.

Thank you too for reading Karen's. She is a busy lady and doesn't have the best blog etiquite (return comments promptly) all the time.

We all hear love you and pray for you guys.

Wishing you and your loved ones a Very Happy New Year.

Thanks for your kind words about Flora. I also think to getting another dog, but I am not sure yet...

Glad to hear your husband is feeling better. I know its stressful taking care of things on a good day without having extra health issues crop up. Think of you often and happy to read about your Christmas with friends. Been a mild winter here and I hope we get at least one snow before spring. Have a very blessed day!

Glad you are back...funny how some of us worry about bloggers when they disappear for a while.
I know I get so busy - then the computer crashed... sigh.
But glad to read your poetry - the good and the not so good parts - but that is life.
