Home Sweet Home

I turned into the driveway and said to myself, "Wonder who lives in this cute little cabin with the pretty flowers and the handsome cat laying on the ramp?" Then myself answered me and said, "It's me! It's me!!!" (You can click on the picture to enlarge it.)

This is a nice rainy day, just especially good for napping. In my younger days I never napped unless I was sick. Now a nap is something that I'll take when I feel sleepy and if there are no interruptions, and I do thoroughly enjoy a good nap. I wake up feeling refreshed and rested. Perhaps this is a sign I'm getting older? Now I'm not one of those people who can sit down in front of the TV and go to sleep in the recliner or on the sofa. I like my napping in the bed under the covers preferably. Are you a napper? If so, do you have a favorite spot?

I just love your home! It looks so inviting and loved. I would be spending lots of time on the front porch watching the world go by with a cuppa tea or hot chocolate and a good book close at hand. I nap (when I can get a chance) on the bed with a nice warm blanket covering me. I am not a chair or sofa napper.

Rachel, thanks so much for visiting and leaving such a nice comment! Yes, I do enjoy driving into our driveway during the growing season...just as you do :) Your pretty little cabin is very welcoming. I love your Mandevillas! Just beautiful!
And having a kitty to welcome you makes it even better :)

Your place is cute.

RE: napping

I can fall asleep anytime. I have even fallen asleep in front of my computer and only woken up when my head hit the keyboard. I love an afternoon nap. My Great Dane, Heidi, love to join me. We are definitel the "odd couple".

I love you charming home!

Napping for me used to consist of a brief ten minute nap on the couch. Now I find myself crawling back into bed for an extended sleep that somehow seems over qualified as a "nap".

What a charming house you have Rachel. I love it....and the cat too! I have been napping more lately. Just a while back, I could never go to sleep in the daytime, but now that has changed. I love napping now!

Rachel, you are all prettied up there. Cat, flowers, and all else you didn't mention. Place looks nice. :)

I can nap most any place that I can get my feet even with my stomach and maybe head.
It is nice that you can nap, you deserve those.

Oh, I LOVE seeing your wonderful gome,Rachel...! And those flowers are soooo very pretty and so is your dear Kitty.....! More pictures, please....!

I never used to nap either, but I find myself waking after taking a nap I didn't know I was going to take...I definitely get tired now, during the day and even in the evening...! So, I DO fall asleep watching TV---in fact, I think it relaxes me and then, I'm off yo Zzzzzland...lol! Not under the covers, though that can happen, too.

Hi Rachel, I just love your home and the kitty looks so peaceful. Such a beautiful place. I seldom nap because I will stay up all night if I do. Like you, I would take it in bed if I took one. Looks like it is going to be a chilly weekend for us here in Ky. I have really enjoyed the cooler weather.
