A Wedding!!

This past Saturday my nephew got married and it was such a beautiful wedding. They got married at a B&B which is also an Equestrian Center. They were married down by a pond under the weeping willow tree. The bride and her father were driven down in a white carriage pulled by a white horse!  The bride and groom were taken to the reception area in the same carriage after the vows were said.  Then there was a lovely reception and catered meal and dancing.

I just loved this place, it was so pretty with some beautiful horses in the fields and the beautiful black fences. There were also some horses in the barn near the house which we were able to pet.

Bride and Groom after the I Do's

That little guy you see the back of his head is my great-nephew Nate. He turned 3 on Sunday. We had to walk down to this area for the wedding. The weather was perfect and there was a gentle breeze.

Nate and his Dad petting this handsome horse!

Maybe some time I can stay at this B&B myself!

Me and two of my great-nieces, Kaylee and Abby.

Here's the bride and groom.

Usually when I look at fancy wedding pictures I think "high cost" but this looks like it was lovely and maybe relatively inexpensive as wedding go. Love the picture of you Rachel with the kiddos.

Yes indeed, a very beautiful wedding. Having nice weather sure helps too.
We have a livery just up the street from us that has those same carriages that they use for weddings etc.

Hi Rachel ~~ This was a beautiful wedding wasn't it! Leave it to a Tennessee B&B to do it up right with the horses.

I'm glad you got to visit with more of the family too. That little nephew Nate has taken a liking to you.

Rachel, my dear...the comments you are referring to were made in January 2006, when I first posted this MARLENE post---So, you may NOT remember saying what you did, my dear...It was almost 6 years ago....(lol)...When you repost something from an earlier time---it re-posts the comments from that time, too....So Colleen's comment was from back then, too.....Sorry it confused you, my dear....!

I hope you are okay, dear Rachel....it has been a while since you posted---I know how one can get out of the habit....But know, you are missed, my dear pal...!
