Let's All Try Truffles

Jamie Dawn is always talking about truffles and how they are so good. I don't think I've ever had any. She told me that they can be purchased at Walmart or Walgreen's and they are the brand of Lindt. So I am going to check them out and see if they are as good as she says. I'll let you know the results. You all may want to get some as well and let me know what you think.

I think if they ever had a truffle eating contest she should be entered! After eating so many like that she might get sick of them forever though. That would not be a good thing.

Tomorrow is Father's Day. Happy Father's Day to all the Father's out there. May your day be very, very special indeed.

Truffles are indeed delicious.

However true English choccie is totally the best.

I am trying to be good so I won't join you in eating any truffles this time. I hope that you enjoy them.

Take care

Maybe Jimmy will get Truffles for Father's Day and I can try them out. I can't say that I have ever tried any, but I've heard they are good.

I thought you meant the kind of mushrooms that pigs have to root out in order to find them...
I have never had the muchroom kind or the chocolate kind.

Thank you, Rachel, for the Fathers Day wish.
Site Meter said you just left my blog. Thanks.
I knew you were talking about the confectionaire kind, right?
I have never eaten the kind the pigs find. I saw pigs finding them in the movie, A Year in Provence [did the book too]. I wanted some while were there this spring, but it didn't happen.

Truffles are Stupendous if they are really really good! You know who else has GREAT Truffles is Harry & David! You know the good okld Harry &David Fruit Of The Month Club people....YUM YUM! I've never had Walmarts or Walgreen...I will have to try them sometime....

Rachel...I never tire of your always soooo very supportive comments. Your enthusiasm means a great deal to me and it is the kind of feedback one needs to know if whatyou are writing about and, in this case, the pictures that go with it, reaches others...So I thank you with all my heart and I guess you have spoiled me so the day you don't say any of that I will think I have failed! (lol)
Seriously...it is wonderful of you to tell me that what I am doing touches you...I thank you dear dear Rachel so very much.

I've heard of the mushrooms that the pigs find.
Do you need to use a chocolate pig to find the chocolate kind in Walmart..

Chocolate with the word truffle attached can't get away from me. The kind the pigs find I have never tried.
Loved the I D I O T story - that's how I feel a lot of times working on my computer.

Oh, Oh, OH!!!!! Rachel, I have had these and not from Wallmart. THEY are deeeeeeeelicious, yes- you're right (and so is Jamie Dawn.)

Recently, I attended a fancy gala fundraiser for the library where my artwork and jewelry were exhibited. The former White House Chef, (who just returned to his job back at the White House) spoke and donated all all proceeds from his book. He uses Lindt chocolate. FREE truffles were donated and given out at the gala. YUM!
BTW, He is one of the most entertaining speakers I have listened, too! (They showcased my jewelry next to his book display. I was floored, but it's the chocolate that sticks with me even more!) It was packaged in the prettiest flower box container and so yummy.
