Truffle Results

Oh my! Now I can see why Jamie Dawn is a truffle lover! I had never had these before and the testing was great fun!! You see me trying one and then licking my fingers and then the lovely chocolate ring around my mouth when I got finished!! They were all soooo good, but I think my favorites were the lighter chocolate. I did find them at Walmart and I got the variety bag. There wasn't a bad truffle in the whole bag. Even the white chocolate ones were yummy. Now I wonder if JD has started a new habit for me? I recommend that you all try them ASAP!

Yippeee!! You found them!!!
Not only that, you ate them!!

You are now officially my Truffle Expert Deputy.

I haven't been able to be online for the past few days, so I was so happy to read this post and the previous one. Those truffles are a good way to lift your spirit now and then. Of course, I eat them for any reason at all, or no reason. :)

Your photos are so cute! I like the one with the chocolate on your mouth. That proves you really liked them. Your pretty smile says it all.

Truffles are delectable!!!!!!!!

Rachel, this post about chocolate is yummy! Your photo is very funny!! So here are some chocolate's quotes:

I have this theory that chocolate slows down the aging process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?

Life is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get. Forrest Gump in "Forrest Gump" (1994)

All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt! Lucy Van Pelt (in Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz)

No Jim, they aren't frozen! They are in the candy section on the top self (at our Walmart). They are lip smacking good!

Thanks Sonia for the quotes!

Glad you enjoyed them! We're about an hour from a Russle Stover factory & store. That's where I had my first truffle, a wonderful experience that I'll likely never forget.

I recently experienced a truffle from the Godiva store. Now that's living!

I love that ring of chocolate around your mouth...you have such a wonderful sense of humor.

Speaking of chocolate poems (Sonia), I had a lady Sunday school teacher in New Hampshire who taught me this one. It's an oldie (I hear):
Candy's
dandy,
liquor's
quicker.
If she wanted a shock effect, she got it!

Rachel, glad that you "discovered" truffles! They are the best! When my mother in law made up goodie bags for my suprise party, she included truffles in it. Boy was I glad that there were leftover bags!
The only ones I didn't like were the ones filled with a gooey liquidy peanut butter! But the rest were fabuloso!

Ralph, No, I don't really think so, but they are good for a splurge every now and then. Of course Jamie Dawn is addicted to them!! You'll have to do your own taste test and see!
