Another Visit to The Falls

This past Saturday I went back to Cumberland Falls and took my great niece with me. We went horseback riding. That is her on the horse and then in front is the young man that led the way. His name was Daniel. She loved it and wanted to keep riding all day. I promised her that we would do it again soon. There was a group getting ready to go rafting below the falls. I would like to do that someday! It is a beginner's raft ride and is 5 miles. I have never done anything like that and I think it would be great fun! Right now I have a little list of things I want to do pretty soon (like this year or next), and so far that list is:

1. Ride on a tube behind a boat on the lake with the boat driver not drinking, not high, and not crazy, and knows what he/she is doing and is very careful and alert to all things!
2. Ride a ski-doo or jet ski.
3. Go rafting below the falls.

Not much of a list huh? Well, that's just the main ones I can think of right now.

A little old man shuffled slowly into an ice cream parlor and pulled
himself slowly, painfully, up onto a stool. After catching his breath, he
ordered a banana split. The waitress asked kindly, "Crushed nuts?" "No,"
he replied, "Arthritis."

Funny joke!!!

I have gone rafting before, and it is great fun. You will really enjoy it.
I'm sure your niece was so happy that you took her horseback riding.
I hope you do all three of those things soon. It has been awhile since I rode a jet ski. It was fun though years ago when I did it. Being pulled in an inner tube is fun too. You don't need to worry much about the danger of it. It is a piece of cake and much, much easier than water skiing.

Go for it, Rachel!

I will never forget the tragic events of 9-11-01.

My list consists of sky diving (just once) and maybe that's all it will take.
That joke is too funny.

Really funny joke R.
To add a little excitement, start your rafting above the falls.
If you come for a visit I've got you covered on the other two. There's a jet ski and boat in the shed, a rope and an innertube.

It would be nice to do anything without running into someone who was "not drinking, not high, and not crazy, and knows what he/she is doing and is very careful and alert to all things!".
Good luck with that, ha,ha..

I think my 'kiddie filter' is borken again. LOL your joke!

I wouldn't go under those falls, the 'Go Water Falling' Web page says it is known as the "Niagara of the South".
Maybe if you had a barrel, ...

http://www.gowaterfalling.com/
lists six falls for Ky. The Cumberland one is real pretty.

Riding the rubber raft behind the boat is 'been there, done that' for me. Not real exciting unless the boat driver tries to dump you.

I've done everything in life that I need to do. I still have a list of possibilites but when I can't do them I won't be too bothered.
